Your privacy.
What we keep when you visit and when you order, who else sees it, and how to say no to ads based on your visit.
When you order
We keep what you give us at checkout: your name, phone number, city, address, any note, and your location if you choose to share it. We use them to prepare your order, call you about it and deliver it, and to measure our ads as explained below.
The courier receives your name, phone number, address and location so they can bring your order. Online payments are made on the payment provider’s own page, so we never see your card or bank details.
To stop fake orders, checkout runs a security check by Cloudflare, and we limit how many orders one phone number or device can place.
When you visit
We record how our pages are used so we can make the shop easier to use: which pages are opened, what is searched for, what goes into the bag, and a replay of taps and scrolling. Your name, phone number, address and notes are hidden in these recordings. We see the country and city a visit comes from, but never keep its internet (IP) address.
Replays are deleted after 14 days, and the visit records themselves after 400 days.
Cloudflare, which delivers our site, also counts visits and how fast pages load for us, without cookies and without identifying anyone.
Facebook and Instagram ads
We use the Meta pixel, which lets Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) and other companies use cookies and similar technology to collect information from our site and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to measure ads and choose which ads to show. Meta is told which pages and perfumes you view, what you search for, what you add to the bag, when you start checkout, when you place an order and its value, and when you tap WhatsApp or our phone number. Our server also sends Meta the same events directly, with your device’s internet (IP) address and browser type, so they are counted even when a browser blocks the pixel.
When you fill in checkout, your phone number, first and last name and city are sent too, so Meta can match the visit to an account. They are turned into a code (hashed) in your browser before they are sent, and never sent as you typed them. The number you leave to hear about women’s fragrances is not sent.
The payment page is never reported to Meta.
Your choices
You can limit this, or turn it off:
- Choose which ads you see from Facebook and Instagram in your account’s ad preferences. Ad preferences
- Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at once. aboutads.info/choices
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (Brave, DuckDuckGo and Firefox offer it), and we send Meta nothing and record no replay of your visit.
- Private browsing, or blocking third-party cookies, also limits what Meta receives.
